The IC200MDL940 module is a VersaMax PLC relay output module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It is equipped with 16 output points. This module has Form A contact outputs and compatible of being used in Class 1, Division 2 rated environment in a temperature range between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius.
It meets different environmental and industrial standards, including the CE and cULus standards. These individual points are isolated from each other. The IC200MDL940 module has a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC and 120 to 240 Volts AC. It has a current rating of 2 Amps. The front section of the module has a lock/unlock lever. There are LED indicators for each individual point to indicate the activity on the point. The contacts in the module are in a closed state when the CPU logic bit is set to 1.
The GE Fanuc VersaMax IC200MDL940 module is powered through the backplane. The load on the module should be powered through an external power source. An additional CPU is needed to process logical operation for the module.
The user input to logic and frame ground isolation rating of the module is 250 Volts AC continuous, and 1500 Volts AC for a time period of up to 60 seconds. There is an output voltage drop of 0.3 Volts maximum. The load current of the IC200MDL940 module is 10 milliamps per point. The relay used in the module is a fixed coil relay with a moving armature. The contact type is made up of high-quality silver alloy.
