About ControlLogix series chassis Module
The 1761-L32BWB is a MicroLogix controller which features an integrated Twenty (20) Discrete 24VDC Inputs and Twelve (12) Relay Outputs rated 24-125VDC / 120 - 240VAC. This Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is manufactured by AB and best suited to control small scale applications or equipment such as a stand-alone machine and processes.
This controller is a compact controller with integrated power supply, I/O channels, memory, and communication ports. The integrated communication ports supports DF1 protocol for serial and peer to peer communication. It may also be used to connect to a DH485 network by interfacing the port a 1761-NET-AIC. The communication port’s primary use is for Downloading, Uploading, Online editing, testing and commissioning of the PLC unit.
Additionally, the communication ports is also used to communicate with computer based control systems or devices such as Human Machine Interface or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). It is also compatible to connect with protocol converters such as a serial to ethernet converter to allow the MicroLogix connect to an Ethernet network via a virtual COM port. Aside from this, communication gateways may also be used with this port.
This PLC hardware is compatible for vertical or horizontal mounting. The required clearance when mounting this controller must measure 2 inches on all sides, regardless of the controller’s orientation. This controller may be mounted with the use of a standard DIN rail or through the optional mounting screws.
The 1761-L32BWB MicroLogix 1000 Programmable Controller by AB is a 32 I/O point controller with Twenty (20) DC inputs, Twelve (12) relay outputs. It is powered by a nominal supply of 24VDC with a voltage range of 14 - 30 VDC.
It has a Relay output with a minimum current load of 10.0 mA, and an OFF to ON and ON to OFF response time of 10 milliseconds. Its relay output has a contact rating of 2.0A per point, with a 1.2A Make Ampere and a Make power of 28VA. The 1761-L32BWB has dimensions of 200 x 40 x 80 millimeters (7.87x 1.57x 3.15 inches)
