The IC3603A177AH9 is a relay created by General Electric for the Mark I and Mark II series. A relay is an electrical device, typically incorporating an electromagnet, that is activated by a current or signal in one circuit to open or close another circuit. Relays are used where it is necessary to control a circuit by a separate low power signal, or where several circuits must be controlled by one signal.
The IC3603A177AH9 is a grey rectangular box with fourteen silver flathead screws. Each screw is separated by a grey divider and is indented to fit the screw along with a metal eye ring underneath the screw.
The screw ports are used to attach wires to connect which circuits the relay needs to control. The IC3603A177AH9 has a faceplate that has the screw ports numbers, the part number (IC3603A177AH9), and General Electric’s company insignia printed on it. The IC3603A177AH9 has four thin metal tabs with holes in each corner to secure the IC3603A177AH9 into place. The screws are labeled one through fourteen (1-14) and can control up to fourteen circuits. There are two gold screws one on each row to use as grounds.

About GE Fanuc IC3600APAB1
The IC3600APAB1 is a power amplifying card produced by General Electric to be used in their Mark I and Mark II lines. The IC3600APAB1 has four small circular transistors. Two of the four transistors are placed in bent “U” shaped brackets. Each bracket has two metal screws with bolts on either side of the transistor. These transistors are used in enhancing or changing electrical power or electronic signals. The IC3600APAB1 has eight large dark brown resistors and seven small dark brown resistors. The resistors are used to slow down the amount of energy as it flows through each resistor. The dark brown resistors have colored bands on them that are used with a color code to calculate how much energy the resistor can slow down. The IC3600APAB1 also has long grey resistors that have the amount of energy they can slow down printed right on the face of it.
The IC3600APAB1 has ten small bead shaped blue diodes. The diodes are used to move energy in a single direction. The IC3600APAB1 has two didoes also known as LED’s (light emitting diodes). These LEDs will light up as the energy flows through them. The IC3600APAB1 connects to other circuit boards using twenty-five double pronged male terminal points. These male terminal points have prongs that come out horizontally and others that stick up vertically. The IC3600APAB1’s prongs are labeled two, then five through fifty (in five level intervals). Each item on the IC3600APAB1 is labeled and outlined, along with General Electric’s insignia.
