The IC3600LIVD1 is a Logic Inverter Card for the Mark I or Mark II series from GE. These two series were the first of the Speedtronic series for gas and steam heavy-duty turbine management that GE developed and released, the MKI in 1969 and the MKII in 1973. Both have since been replaced by later Speedtronic models like the MKIV through MKVIe, and yet hundreds of MKI and MKII systems are still in use around the globe. Designed by GE to be adaptable and scalable, both of these series have seen decades of use in applications as varied as pipeline, marine and utility service, in temperatures ranging from -50C to +50C.

The IC3600LIVD1 has been factory-drilled in two of its four corners. It has the GE logo, its board number and the numbers 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 51 printed on its surface.

The IC3600LIVD1 carries seventeen capacitors located in a single parallel line. All capacitors are made of polyester vinyl. Sixteen of these (.001 10% 200V) are marked as C1. One (+/- 10% 200VDC) is marked as C2. The board also carries sixteen transistors placed in two lines. All transistors are marked Q1. Resistors tend to be carbon composite material. While there are eighty resistors on the board, the resistor markings used are restricted to R1 through R5, with sixteen resistors carrying each designator.

The IC3600LIVD1 communicates with the main control panel of the Speedtronic system via fifty-one metal pins. These pins facilitate the transfer of data through wires connected to them after installation.
